The Young environmental chemistry & Ecotoxicology is the youth organization of the GDCh Division of Environmental Chemistry & Ecotoxicology and was founded in April 2021. Since then it has represented the interests of the young members. It supports them in networking on a common platform. It works closely with the Board of the Division , sends a member of its own board to the meetings of the specialist group board and is actively involved in the work of the specialist group, for example in the planning and organization of Conferences and awards. One of the core tasks of the jUCÖT is the organization of national events, such as the annual Young environmental chemistry Forum (JUF) and the Perspective Day.
