Who we are - What we do
The Young environmental chemistry & Ecotoxicology (jUCÖT; founded in April 2021) is the youth organization of the GDCh Division of Environmental Chemistry & Ecotoxicology. It represents the interests of the Division's young members, supports their networking on a shared platform, and works closely with the Board of the Division . Since January 2023, there has been an elected jUCÖT Board that sends members to the division's board meetings and actively participates in the division's work, for example, in planning and organizing Conferences and award ceremonies. One of jUCÖT's core tasks is organizing supra-regional events, such as the annual Young Environmental Forum (JUF) and the Perspectives Days.
All student and junior members of the Division are automatically members of the jUCÖT. Anyone interested in actively participating in the jUCÖT should contact us by email at jucoet@go.gdch.de. We look forward to exchanging ideas!
