In a letter dated August 26, 2025, we announced the candidates proposed by the current Board of the GDCh Division of Photochemistry for the upcoming board election. Junior Professor Dr. Andrea Pannwitz has since withdrawn her candidacy.   No further nominations were submitted from the membership. According to the bylaws of the Division, the Board consists of a maximum of seven members (1x Chair, 1x Deputy Chair, max. 5x assistant members), who are each elected for a period of four years. Re-election is possible once. To ensure representation from universities/research institutions and from industry on the Board , elections are held in two areas. Six people are elected to the Board from the “university/research institution” area and one person from the “industry” area. A total of eight people are up for election for seven newly vacant board positions. The positions of Chair and Deputy Chair are determined by the elected Board after the election.

All members of the specialist group who have provided an email address will receive a link to the online voting on Monday, October 20, 2025. All other members will receive the voting documents by mail.
