The 2023 doctoral seminar on chemistry of construction materials took place on the grounds of the European Youth Education and Meeting Center in Weimar. Nine doctoral students used this opportunity to exchange scientific ideas and to present their doctoral topics. In addition to the scientific exchange, there was a barbecue evening, an afternoon walk to famous Bauhaus sites, a visit to the "Schmale Towel" (a Weimar institution that has been tapping beer for the thirsty - including many students - for more than 100 years) and a Guided tour of the laboratories of the Professorship of chemistry of construction materials and Polymer Materials, which are equipped with the latest testing and analysis technology.
