Junior Young Analytical Chemists of the GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry

The interests of younger analysts are represented by two elected members of the board. For the term 2024-2027, these are:

 

• Dr. Jens Fangmeyer, Currenta GmbH & Co. OHG, Leverkusen
• Dr. Catharina Erbacher, BASF SE, Ludwigshafen

The group of Young Analytical Chemists comprises all members of the Division who have not yet reached the age of 40. The aforementioned board members organize and lead annual meetings that serve to create representative opinions on current topics, for internal coordination, and to launch initiatives. The junior Young Analytical Chemists are also involved in the program development and organization of Divisions events (Conferences, seminars, etc.).
