The Society of Water Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in selected Conferences, seminars or workshops (e.g. annual conference WATER) by awarding travel scholarships.

Framework conditions:

 

• Target group: Students during their master's thesis, doctoral students
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
• Allocation mode: “first come, first serve”
• All scholarship holders are requested to mention the support from the GDCh Division Society of Water Chemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

The Society of Water Chemistry awards a limited number of conference scholarships of up to 200 euros each to students during their master's thesis or doctorate for active participation in WASSER 2025, which will take place from 26 to 28 May 2025 in Münster. Applications can be submitted   Applications must be submitted by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office ) under the keyword " Conference Scholarship WASSER 2025 " no later than three weeks before the start of the event. The complete package includes the following documents:

 

• Completed application form
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference fee
• Proof of registration for the Conference
