The Society of Water Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in selected Conferences or workshops (e.g. the annual conference WASSER) by awarding travel scholarships.

Framework conditions:

 

• Target group: Students during their master's thesis, doctoral students
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
• Allocation mode: “first come, first serve”
• All scholarship recipients are asked to mention the support from the GDCh Division Society of Water Chemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

There are currently no scholarships available.

The Society of Water Chemistry is awarding a limited number of conference scholarships of up to €250 each to students working on their Master's thesis or doctorate for active participation in WASSER 2026, which will take place in Kiel from May 11th to 13th, 2026. Applications can be submitted...   Applications must be submitted by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office ) with the subject line " Conference Grant WATER 2026 " no later than three weeks before the start of the event. The complete application includes the following documents:

 

• Completed application form
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution
• Proof of registration for the Conference
