The closed conference and the Online roundtable serve the exchange of experiences and opinions of the local association chairmen, the JCF federal spokespersons and their exchange with the full-time employees of the GDCh Office office and the GDCh Executive Committee. Lectures and panel discussions highlight topics that are important for the work on site. This includes strategic aspects as well as recommendations for practical work. The closed conference took place in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 in Schmitten (Hochtaunus). In 2015 the format was changed to a one-day event in Frankfurt. The format has been continued annually as an Online roundtable since 2021.
