With a network of around 1900 members, the Division for chemical education offers a wide range of activities and information to increase the quality and performance of chemistry teaching. These include e.g

     

  • Reduced participation fee for the annual conference of the Division , at which a platform for future-oriented chemical education is offered in numerous experimental and discussion lectures, workshops and posters as well as the General Assembly .
  • the magazine CHEMKON, which informs members eight times a year about news from the Division and from the areas of didactics, teaching and school experiments.

Associate member of the GDCh and specialist group membership in the FG CU

Annual fee: 40 euros

Interested chemistry teachers from Germany and abroad, if they do not have a degree in chemistry, biochemistry or food chemistry , can choose associated membership as an alternative to regular GDCh membership.

Associated members of the GDCh can also be people from Germany and abroad who do not have an education in the field of chemistry or related areas and who are interested in working in the Division for chemical education .

The associated membership in the GDCh is combined with a membership in a specialist group. Supporting members
