Associate member of the GDCh and specialist group membership in the FG CU

Annual fee: 40 euros

Interested chemistry teachers from Germany and abroad, if they do not have a degree in chemistry, biochemistry or food chemistry , can choose associated membership as an alternative to regular GDCh membership.

Associated members of the GDCh can also be people from Germany and abroad who do not have an education in the field of chemistry or related areas and who are interested in working in the Division for chemical education .

The associated membership in the GDCh is combined with a membership in a specialist group. You receive all the services of the chemical education Division , such as department information and the department journal CHEMKON, but not the services of the GDCh. The right to vote is limited to the active right to vote in the Division .

Free trial membership for study of assistant -referendare in the Division of chemical education

Study of assistant -referendare can get to know the benefits of membership in the Division for chemical education of the German Chemical Society for a year now.

All student trainees who decide to become associated membership are made free of charge in the first year of their membership. This offer is only valid for new admissions. From the second year of the annual contribution of 40 euros for associate membership of the German Chemical Society and the Section membership in the Division of chemical education is then due. Full member of the GDCh and specialist group membership in the FG CU

Annual fee: 120 euros (GDCh membership) + 25 euros (specialist group membership)

Ordinary members can be all persons at home and abroad who are interested in chemical education and who are full members of the society according to the statutes of the German Chemical Society . In addition to the services of the Division , full members receive the Nachrichten aus der Chemie and have an active right to vote in the GDCh. You can find out more about GDCh membership here.

Associated membership for chemistry teaching students

Annual fee: 40.00 EURO In order to make it easier for students studying chemistry to join the Division , a special arrangement for associated membership applies to this group of students. Students in teaching chemistry to the application for associate membership before graduating - connected with the application for membership in the Division of chemical education - ask questions and be treated as associated members.

Student members and other members in training

Annual fee: 30.00 euros plus 25.00 euros FG

Student members and other members in training can become students of chemistry and other natural science subjects as well as other persons interested in chemical and molecular sciences who are in vocational or school education. You receive the news of chemistry as well as the Chemkon and have an active right to vote in the GDCh and the FG CU.

Supporting members

Supporting members can be legal persons, societies, companies, corporations and institutions under public law, associations, interest groups and authorities.
