Prize of the Society of Water Chemistry

Since 1971, the Society of Water Chemistry Division of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) has awarded the Society of Water Chemistry Prize to promote young scientists under the age of 40 at its annual "Water" conference, provided that the candidates are worthy of the prize. The award includes a certificate and prize money of 3,000 euros, paid by the Walter Kölle Foundation. The award is given for outstanding scientific achievements in a field of water chemistry.
