scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Electrochemistry

The Division of Electrochemistry   The German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in national and international Conferences by awarding travel scholarships.

From 1 January 2025 and initially limited to the end of 2025, the Division of Electrochemistry offers a limited number of travel grants to participate in freely selectable Conferences.

Framework conditions:

 

• Target group: Students up to and including doctoral students
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. with a lecture or poster presentation on a topic of electrochemistry
• Awarding mode: maximum 2 scholarships per person and calendar year
• Maximum funding amounts: 400 euros (national Conference), 500 euros (Europe) or 600 euros (outside Europe)
• All scholarship recipients are requested to mention the support from the GDCh Division of Electrochemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

Scholarship applications can be submitted by email to Dr. Carina S. Kniep (GDCh Office) with the subject " Conference Scholarship Electrochemistry" no later than three weeks before the start of the event. Each application includes the following documents, summarized in a single PDF:

 

• Completed application form,
• Abstract of the conference paper,
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference fee,
• Proof of registration for the Conference.
