scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Electrochemistry

The Division of Electrochemistry   The German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in national and international Conferences by awarding travel scholarships.

From 1 January 2025 and initially limited until the end of 2025, the Division of Electrochemistry is offering a limited number of travel scholarships to participate in freely selectable Conferences.

Framework conditions:

 

• Target group: Students up to and including doctoral students
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. with a lecture or poster presentation on a topic of electrochemistry
• Awarding mode: maximum of 2 scholarships per person per calendar year
• Maximum funding amounts: 400 euros (national Conference), 500 euros (Europe) or 600 euros (outside Europe)
• All scholarship holders are requested to mention the support from the GDCh Division of Electrochemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

Scholarships can be applied for with the subject " Conference scholarship for electrochemistry" by email to Dr. Carina S. Kniep (GDCh Office) no later than 3 weeks before the start of the event. Each application contains - summarized in a PDF - the following documents:

 

• Completed application form,
• Abstract of the conference paper,
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution,
• Proof of registration for the Conference.
