Scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Electrochemistry

The Division of Electrochemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) supports the activities of young scientists by awarding a limited number of conference scholarships. The aim is to give younger specialist group members the opportunity to develop opportunities for active participation in selected Conferences or workshops as part of their training (e.g. Division conference ").

General conditions:

     

  • Target group: Students during their master's thesis, doctoral candidates and postdocs (without permanent positions)
  • Prerequisite: active participation in the event, ie lecture or poster presentation on a topic in electrochemistry
  • Allocation mode: “first come, first serve”

ESEAC 2024 (July 23-26, 2024; Ulm)

The Division awards three travel scholarships of a maximum of 500 euros to younger specialist group members (see above) who actively participate in ESEAC 2024. Scholarships can be applied for up to three weeks before the start of the conference by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) using the keyword “ Conference Scholarship ESEAC 2024 ”.   • Abstract of the conference contribution (poster/ lecture),
  • Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution (poster/ lecture),

Electrochemistry 2024 (September 16-19, 2024; Braunschweig)

The Division is offering a limited number of travel grants of a maximum of 500 euros to attend the Electrochemistry 2024 Division conference . The prerequisite is active participation in the conference with a poster or lecture.
