scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Photochemistry

The Division of Photochemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in selected Conferences, seminars or workshops (e.g. the " Lecture Conference on Photochemistry ") by awarding travel scholarships.

Framework conditions:

 

• Target group: Students during their bachelor's and master's thesis, doctoral students
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
• All scholarship holders are requested to mention the support from the GDCh Division of Photochemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

The Division of Photochemistry is offering a limited number of scholarships of up to 500 euros each for active participation with a lecture presentation at the Central European Conference on Photochemistry (CECP 2026).   Scholarships can be applied for by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) up to three weeks before the start of the event (January 9, 2026) using the subject line "Conference Scholarship Photochemistry CECP 2026". The complete application documents include the following:

 

• Completed application form,
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution (lecture)
• Proof of registration for the Conference.
