Scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Macromolecular Chemistry

The Division of Macromolecular Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) supports the activities of young scientists by awarding a limited number of conference scholarships. This is intended to give younger members of the section the opportunity to actively participate in national and international Conferences, seminars or workshops as part of their training. General conditions:

     

  • Target group: student members of the specialist group
  • Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
  • Funding amounts: Individual decision (approx. 250 euros for events in Europe); approval depends on the financial situation of the Division
  • Funding for a maximum of two people per university working group per year ("first come, first serve")

Scholarships for MAKRO 2024 (16-18 September 2024; Dresden)

The Division of Macromolecular Chemistry is awarding a limited number of scholarships of a maximum of 200 euros for its own MAKRO 2024 Division conference to student members of the specialist group who give a lecture or present a poster. Scholarships can be applied for by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) by July 15, 2024, using the keyword "MACRO 2024 conference scholarship". The complete package includes the following documents:

     

  • completed application form,
  • Confirmation of acceptance of the conference fee,
  • Proof of registration for the Conference.

The Division of Macromolecular Chemistry awards a limited number of scholarships for freely selectable events. These scholarships can be applied for by email to Dr. Carina S.
