scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Detergent Chemistry

The Division of Detergent Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in selected Conferences (e.g. European Detergents Conference (EDC) ) by awarding travel scholarships.

Framework conditions:

 

• Target group: Students during their bachelor's and master's thesis, doctoral students, postdocs
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
• All scholarship holders are requested to mention the support from the GDCh Division of Detergent Chemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

The Division of Detergent Chemistry is offering a limited number of travel grants of up to €500 each for active participation in EDC 2026. EDC is the Division 's annual conference and takes place every year under the auspices of the SEPAWA CONGRESS in Berlin. Applications can be submitted by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) up to three weeks before the conference, using the subject line "Conference Grant EDC 2026". The complete application documents include the following:

 

• Completed application form,
• Abstract and confirmation of acceptance of the conference paper,
• Proof of registration for the Conference.
