Scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Detergent Chemistry

The Division of Detergent Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) supports the activities of young scientists by awarding a limited number of conference grants. Younger members of the specialist group should thus be given the opportunity to open up opportunities for active participation in selected Conferences, seminars or workshops (e.g. European Detergents Conference (EDC) ) as part of their training .

General conditions:

 

• Target group: Students during their bachelor's and master's thesis, doctoral candidates, postdocs
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, ie lecture or poster presentation

The Division of Detergent Chemistry is offering a limited number of travel grants of up to 350 euros each for active participation in the EDC 2024. The EDC is the annual conference of the Division and takes place annually under the umbrella of the SEPAWA CONGRESS in Berlin. Applications can be submitted by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) up to 3 weeks before the start of the event using the keyword "EDC 2024 conference grant". The complete package includes the following documents:

 

• Completed application form,
• Abstract and confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution,
• Proof of registration for the Conference.
