scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Chemistry & Energy

The Division of Chemistry & Energy of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in national and international Conferences, seminars or workshops by awarding various travel scholarships.

Framework conditions:

 

• Target group: Students
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
• All conference contributions have a clear connection to the topic of chemistry and energy.
• All scholarship holders are requested to mention the support from the GDCh Division of Chemistry & Energy in their lecture or on their poster.

There are currently no travel grants available for selected conferences.

The Division of Chemistry & Energy awards a limited number of travel grants for active participation in Conferences of your choice. These can be applied for at any time by submitting an application to Dr. Lisa Pecher, quoting the reference "Conference Grant Chemistry & Energy," no later than three weeks before the event. Each application must include the following documents:

 

• completed application form,
• Abstract of the conference contribution (poster/ lecture),
• a short explanation (2-3 sentences) as to how the conference contribution is relevant to the topic of Chemistry & Energy (e.g. energetic application),
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference fee,
• Proof of registration.

Maximum funding amount: 250 euros
