The German Chemical Society is the publisher and owner or co-publisher/co-owner of a number of renowned journals from almost all areas of chemistry.

Some of the journals, such as Angewandte Chemie , are owned solely by the GDCh, but the larger part is a joint initiative of the GDCh and friendly European specialist societies, above all under the umbrella of Chemistry Europe.
