Until 2023, the GDCh organized the GDCh Science Forum Chemistry (WiFo) every two years at different locations in Germany. International scientists of repute were also invited to give lectures at this most important German chemistry congress. The "WiFo" was a platform on which chemistry presented itself in all its breadth as an integrative scientific discipline and branch of industry. Over four days with a lecture program, exhibition, poster session, networking evenings and career day, decision-makers, thought leaders and doers met to exchange knowledge and experience.
