The statutes of the GDCh name, among other things, the "cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations with comparable scientific tasks" and the "promotion of scientific publications" as tasks and goals. In order to achieve these goals, the GDCh uses the opportunity to participate directly in other scientific institutions and organizations.
