At irregular intervals, the Division of Detergent Chemistry awards the Division Award for deserving personalities in the field of detergent chemistry.

The Division of Detergent Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) awards – subject to worthy nominations/applications – one Young Scientist Award each each year for an outstanding bachelor's thesis, a master's/admission thesis and a dissertation with particular relevance to the development of detergents and cleaning agents.

Young Scientist Award & previous awardees

At its annual meeting, the European Detergents Conference (EDC), the Division awards up to four poster prizes.
