Messages

The Division 's publication medium is the communications from the Division of History of Chemistry, which have generally been published every one to two years since 1988. The announcements contain lectures from the Conferences, free contributions, a current exhibition and conference calendar as well as information about new publications.

Members of the Division of History of Chemistry each receive one copy free of charge as part of their membership fee. Non-members and institutions can request them from the office for a contribution of 20 euros including shipping costs (Germany), GDCh members for 10 euros - plus shipping costs - from the office (e-mail to fg@gdch.de ). Subscriptions are not possible.

Volumes 1 - 9 and volumes 14, 15, 21 are out of stock.

The electronic version of all contributions to the previous communications are now also available online.

The series “ From school year to school year – highlights of chemistry history ” is published in ChemKon. more

GDCh monographs - contemporary witness reports

In the “ GDCh Monographs ” series, 14 volumes were published from 1996 to 2019. With the dissolution of the Industrial Group working group on December 31, 2018, the publication "Contemporary Witness Reports" with the last volume 53 was discontinued. Future articles with relevant content will be integrated into the “ Communications from the Division of History of Chemistry ”. The contemporary witness reports can be ordered via the GDCh shop. Contemporary witness reports I - III are out of print (Vol. 10, 16, 19).
