According to the Division 's bylaws , the Board consists of a maximum of seven members (1 Chair, 1 Deputy Chair, and a maximum of 5 deputy members), each elected for a term of four years. Direct re-election is possible once. To ensure representation from universities and research institutions, as well as from industry, on the Board , elections are held in two sections.

Five members will be elected to the Board from the "University/Research Institution" sector and two from the "Industry" sector. A total of twelve members will be nominated for seven newly filled Board positions. The positions of Chair and Deputy Chair will be determined from the elected Board following the election.

All members of the specialist group who have provided an email address will receive a link to the online voting on Monday, October 6, 2025. All other members will receive the voting documents by mail.
