Fritz Straßmann Award

Award Statute

§1 The Board of Directors of the nuclear chemistry Board of the Division decides to award a Division Award under the name "Fritz Straßmann Award".

§2 The Division Award is awarded to personalities who have made outstanding achievements in the field of nuclear chemistry .

§3 As a rule, the prize can be awarded every four years.

§4 All members of the Division are entitled to nominate candidates. Self-applications are excluded. The board and advisory board members of the Division decide on the award of the award with a simple majority of votes. In the event of a tie, the vote of the chairperson of the Division is decisive.

§5 Applications are to be submitted in electronic form to the GDCh Office . The informal application, which should contain a justification for the candidate proposal, must be accompanied by:

§7 Changes to these statutes are only possible with a 2/3 majority of the Divisions board.

PhD Award of the Division of Nuclear Chemistry

Award Statute

§1 The Board of the Division of the nuclear chemistry section decides to award a PhD Award to the Division . The number of awardee is limited to three per call for proposals .

§2 The prize is awarded for an outstanding dissertation in the field of nuclear chemistry . As a rule, the work submitted should be completed and evaluated in the period between the annual conferences of the Divisions(usually two years).

§3 Eligible to nominate are university teachers and members of the Division who have a doctorate. The board and advisory board members of the Division form the jury. They decide with a simple majority of votes. In the event of a tie, the chairperson of the specialist group decides.
