Board election for the term of office 2025 to 2028

In a letter dated September 24, 2024, we informed you of the candidates proposed by the current Board of the GDCh Division of Macromolecular Chemistry for the upcoming board election. No further proposals were submitted from the ranks of the members. Accordingly, the election of the board will be carried out with the following people, all of whom have agreed to their candidacy:

University/Research Institution/Authority – 4 board positions are available

Industry/freelance professions – 5 board positions are available

According to the bylaws of the Division, the Board consists of a maximum of nine members (1x Chair, 1x Deputy Chair, max. 7x assistant chair), each of whom is elected for a period of four years. At the time of the election, five members come from industry and the liberal professions and four members come from universities and research institutions. This means that 11 people are available for election for a maximum of nine newly vacant board positions. The roles of Chair and Deputy Chair are determined by the elected Board after the election.

All members who have provided an email address will receive a personalized link to participate in the election by email. All other members will receive the voting documents by post. The voting envelopes will be opened and evaluated at the GDCh Office, Varrentrappstr. 40-42, 60486 Frankfurt am Main. The election results will be announced in the Nachrichten aus der Chemie and on the Division 's website.
