Publications of the GDCh Division of Environmental Chemistry & Ecotoxicology

Since 1998, the Division has published its own membership magazine, the Mitteilungen (Communications). Until 2005, the Mitteilungen (ISSN: 1617-5301 (2001-2005), 0948-6283 (until 2000)) were published by Wiley-VCH Verlag (Weinheim). Since 2006, the journal Mitt Umweltchem Ökotox (ISSN: 1618-3258), as the Mitteilungen are now called, has been available as an e-paper for download.

The current issue 4/2025 contains, among other things, five original articles on the following topics: biomonitoring of PFAS, insecticides in Swiss rivers, fish and antidepressants, risk assessment within the framework of the "Central Zone Guidance," environmental chemistry in Germany, and a report from "Umwelt 2025" (Environment 2025). In addition, the Soil Science and soil Resources working group at the Geographical Institute of Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) and UMW environmental monitoring present themselves.

The Division publishes position papers at irregular intervals.
