Publications of the GDCh Division of Environmental Chemistry & Ecotoxicology

Since 1998, the Division has maintained its own membership magazine"( Reports ). Until 2005, " Nachrichten" (ISSN: 1617-5301 (2001-2005), 0948-6283 (until 2000)) was published by WILEY-VCH Verlag (Weinheim). Since 2006, the journal " Mitt Umweltchem Ökotox" (ISSN: 1618-3258), as the "Nachrichten" is now called, has been published as an e-paper for download.

The current issue 2/ 2025   It includes, among other things, four original contributions on the topics of PFAS release in soil, mercury in German rivers, the impact of extreme flood events on sediment-bound heavy metals, and a workshop on the monitoring of persistent chemicals. The environmental monitoring and Endocrinology Research Group, the Materials Research and Testing Institute (MFPA), and the ABF Analytical-Biological Research Laboratory GmbH also present their work.

The Division publishes position papers at irregular intervals.
