The joint annual conference of the SETAC GLB and the GDCh Division of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology in 2024 in Gießen and Homberg (Ohm) is dedicated to bringing together basic and applied research with regard to the risk assessment of pollutants and is intended to build on the success of the field day of the 2014 Conference . Insights into current environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology and regulatory topics are provided: from theoretical models to laboratory experiments to complex ecosystem studies and computer-aided modeling. In mutual exchange, findings are discussed not only in the lecture hall, but also directly on the object in the field.
