Scholarship program of the GDCh Division of Magnetic Resonance

The Division of Magnetic Resonance of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists in national and international Conferences, seminars or workshops by awarding various travel scholarships.

Active participation (poster/ lecture) at selected conferences is particularly encouraged by the Division of Magnetic Resonance through the awarding of individually advertised scholarships.

The Division of Magnetic Resonance) is awarding a limited number of scholarships of up to €400 each for active participation (poster/ lecture) at the 47th FGMR Annual Discussion Meeting. Applications for scholarships can be submitted by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) by August 24, 2026, using the subject line "FGMR 2026 Conference Scholarship". The complete application documents include the following:

 

• Completed application form,
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference paper,
• Proof of registration for the Conference.

The Division of Magnetic Resonance offers a limited number of travel grants for students up to doctoral level to participate in freely selectable Conferences . General conditions:

 

• Active participation (poster/ lecture) in a national or international specialist event that is linked to the topics of the Division .
• Maximum grant: 400 euros per scholarship
• Awarding of a maximum of 5 scholarships for the same event ("first come, first served")
• Award of a maximum of 1 scholarship per working group and person per calendar year ("first come, first serve")
• The scholarship pool is limited; there is no guarantee of funding.
• All scholarship recipients are requested to mention the funding from the GDCh Division of Magnetic Resonance in their lecture or on their poster.

General conference grants can be applied for by email to Dr. Lisa Pecher (GDCh Office)with the subject " Conference Grant Magnetic Resonance" no later than three weeks before the start of the event. Each application must include the following documents:

 

• Completed application form,
• Abstract of the conference paper,
• Confirmation of acceptance of the conference fee
• Proof of registration for the Conference.
