Joint Working Group Chemical Biology

The Joint Working Group Chemical Biology deals with the elucidation and influencing of molecular and cell biological processes, including the functions and interactions of proteins, using chemical tools (e.g., low-molecular-weight substances) and is supported by four scientific societies:

 

• German Pharmaceutical Society (DPhG),
• German Chemical Society (GDCh),
• Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM) and
• German Society for Chemical Engineering and biotechnology (DECHEMA).

All members of the sponsoring societies can join the Joint Division of Chemical Biology without paying an additional membership fee. It is not a Division as defined by the GDCh statutes.
