The Working Group Theoretical Chemistry (AGTC) promotes collaboration among scientists working in the field of theoretical chemistry and represents their interests to other disciplines and their associations. The AGTC is supported by three scientific societies:

 

• German Bunsen Society for physical chemistry (DBG)
• German Physical Society (DPG)
• German Chemical Society (GDCh).

The AGTC is not a Division within the meaning of the GDCh statutes.
