What we eat every day concerns us all. Nobody wants spoiled or counterfeit food. Fortunately, there are inspection agencies that check what comes onto the market. On our 12th SEC Technology tour to Oldenburg, we had the rare opportunity to visit such an agency!

The Oldenburg Food and Veterinary Institute (LVI) opened its doors especially for us on September 28, 2022. After an introductory lecture in which food counterfeiting played a special role, we learned about various examination methods in groups of 10 people.

13-14 o'clock shared snack
2-3 pm Trip "to the country": Bad Zwischenahn
3-4 pm Walk in the spa park Bad Zwischenahn
4-4:40 p.m. boat to Dreibergen
4:40-6 p.m. Coffee (or beer or…) at Fährkroog
18:10-18:40 hrs Ship back to Bad Zwischenahn
18:40-19 hrs Return to Hatterwüsting
7-11pm Dinner together at the Meiners Restaurant and end of the day
