working group on nanomaterials

The working group consists of members who come from official surveillance, trade laboratories, the food industry and research institutions.

tasks and goals

The aim of the working group nanomaterials should be the exchange of information and scientific standpoints regarding the applications of nanomaterials in the consumer environment.

The areas of feed and food are considered. The aim is to achieve norms and standardizations of analysis methods to ensure the quality and correctness of determinations in complex matrices as well as the assessment of products. The development of opinions is intended to actively influence federal and EU legislative projects and thus create a uniform basis for assessments.
