WORK EXPERIENCE

January 2015 - November 2015. Postdoctoral Fellow at the IBMI in TranslaTUM (Munich, DE). I am working on optoacoustic imaging of metabolism under the supervison of Prof. Dr. Vasilis Ntziachristos.

January 2016 - December 2017. Postdoctoral Fellow at Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, Italy. I worked in the group of Functional Imaging and Cellular Chemistry headed by Dr. Stefania Rapino. I have experience as teaching assistant and co-supervisor of MSc and BSc thesis projects.

June 2015 - November 2015. Visiting Researcher at University of Warwick (Coventry, UK). I was responsible for the optimization of ?metric electrochemical biosensors for in vivo analysis under the supervision of Prof. Nicholas Dale. The project was carried out in collaboration with Sarissa Biomedical Ltd.

January 2013 - December 2015. I was granted a three-year research fellowship by the Italian Foundation for Cancer Research (FIRC) at the Department of Experimental Oncology of the IEO in Milan. The project was focused on the development of metabolic micro-biosensors for single living cell analysis. Head of the group: Dr. Stefania Rapino (UniBO) and Prof. Pier Giuseppe Pelicci (IEO).

January 2011 - July 2011. Research Fellow at University of Padua. I was responsible for the development of a new electrochemical biosensor for TNF-? protein detection.

June 2010 - August 2010. Visiting MSc Student at University of Connecticut (Storrs, CT, USA). I worked in a team involved in the development of electrochemical immunosensor for early cancer detection of Nanog, a biomarker involved in cervical carcinoma, in a microfluidic system.

January 2009 - June 2009. Erasmus Student at NTNU University (Trondheim, Norway). Project: identification of primary and secondary structure of Grx protein using 2D and 3D-NMR analysis.
