Mission Statement

The WG JLC is a working group / the youth organization of the Food Chemistry Society (LChG) - Division in the German Chemical Society (GDCh).

We are the representatives of students and doctoral candidates in food chemistry at German universities. Our aim is to advocate for the interests of young researchers at our institutions and to promote communication between universities. To achieve this goal, we are continuously expanding our established information network and striving to recruit as many students as possible to participate in the LChG (Food Chemistry Society). Furthermore, we want to raise awareness of the profession of food chemist and thereby improve career opportunities.
