The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology offers extensive information, various brochures and a database in which you can research funding programs for start-ups.

The funding database also comes from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and provides an overview of the funding programs of the federal government, the states and the European Union. There is also a lot of information for start-ups.

EXIST

And another program from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology: EXIST is intended to promote start-ups from science. Scholarships support founders from universities or non-university research institutions.

GO-Bio

With the GO-Bio competition, the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) supports research teams in the life sciences that are ready to start up a company. Since it started in 2005, many projects have been funded in several selection rounds. The website provides information on the current status of each selection round. Most of these projects deal with the development of new drugs or services for pharmaceutical development, but also with medical technology or plant protection.

Science4Life

This is a nationwide association of experts from industry, trade and crafts who have retired from active working life and are passing on their specialist knowledge to the younger generation. The homepage also contains a list of other initiatives in the various regions of Germany.

Förderland is an independent, nationwide information portal for start-ups and entrepreneurs in medium-sized businesses. In addition to structured information, visitors receive many services, interesting links and contacts as well as a variety of practice-oriented experiences.

The nationwide women entrepreneur agency (bga) is a Germany-wide information and service center for women's entrepreneurial independence across all sectors and phases of business start-ups, consolidation and company succession. This service is offered by the Federal Ministry of Research and Education, the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
