On this page, we provide the liaison professors and contact persons with the forms for the annual survey for our statistics on chemistry degree programs. This page is only accessible via the short link www.gdch.de/statistikformulare and is not visible in the directory tree on the left. The copyright for these forms belongs to the GDCh.

For the 2025/26 academic year as well: For the sake of the environment, we will provide universities and colleges with the GDCh statistics as a PDF file and flipbook next year. Contact persons on our records will receive these by email. Should you still prefer a printed version, please indicate this using the form below. Your response will then be taken into account for printing, and you will receive a copy by mail.

Overview - Who needs which form?

A. Chemistry degree programs at universities
(Chemistry, chemical engineering, industrial chemistry, biomedical chemistry, nanoscience, etc.)

You will need the following forms:
Questionnaire No. 1. Bachelor's Degree
No. 2. Master's Questionnaire
No. 3. Questionnaire for doctoral studies
No. 4. Chemistry working documents
and possibly
No. 6. Questionnaire for Diploma Chemistry and Business Chemistry
(only universities whose chemistry diploma programs have not yet been discontinued)

B. Biochemistry degree programs at universities
(Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Biology etc.)

You will need the following forms:
Questionnaire No. 1. Bachelor's Degree
No. 2. Master's Questionnaire
No. 3. Questionnaire for doctoral studies
No. 5. Biochemistry course materials (experience has shown that these are useful for large faculties, but unnecessary for small faculties)
and possibly
7. Questionnaire for Diploma in Biochemistry
(only universities whose biochemistry diploma programs have not yet been discontinued)

C. food chemistry- Degree Programs at Universities
(Bachelor's, Master's, Diploma and State Examination degree programs in LM Chemistry)

You will need the following form:

D. All degree programs at universities of applied sciences (HAW, formerly Fachhochschulen)

If you would like to receive a printed copy of the GDCh Statistics 2025, please let us know by May 31, 2026. One copy will be sent by mail per university/college or contact known to us for each pre-order placed via this form .

Further information for the contact persons at the universities

1. Universities that have courses in chemistry and biochemistry/life sciences at the same time:

It is up to you whether you enter the doctorates of chemistry and biochemistry graduates together or in separate questionnaires. Please tick the appropriate boxes at the beginning of the questionnaire.
At universities that show the doctorates in chemistry and biochemistry together, these are counted in the doctorates in chemistry and there is a corresponding footnote.

2. Universities that have several courses, e.g. chemistry and business chemistry, chemistry and biomedical chemistry, chemistry and chemical engineering, etc.:

Please fill out a separate questionnaire for each university courses OR indicate that the completed questionnaire contains the data for both courses. You can see which degree programs we have recorded from your university in the overview tables in the statistics.

3. Universities that offer a university courses that is not yet listed by us:

You can see which degree programs we have already recorded in the overview tables in the statistics. If your university courses is not listed, please inform us briefly about the new university courses and fill out the appropriate form for this university courses . Even if the university courses does not have any graduates yet, we are happy to add it to the list.

4. We would like to thank all employees involved for their support!

Without the support of many helpers in the dean's offices and departments, we would not be able to compile the detailed statistics that other departments envy us for. We owe a debt of gratitude to everyone involved.
