The organizer assumes no responsibility for damages of any kind, in particular, damages on and at the exhibition stand (equipment of the stand, exhibits, property of persons employed on the stand) and damages sustained by third parties due to the stand, unless such damage is proved to have been caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the organizer or his servants.
Any liability on the part of the organizer for consequential damages is excluded.
The exhibitor is obligated to take out sufficient insurance cover in respect of his liability risk.
The exhibitor is liable for all personal injuries and damages to property arising from the erection or demonstration of the instruments exhibited.
By concluding the contract, the contracting party undertakes to comply with the hygiene measures established by the organizer before, during and after the event to protect against infection with the Covid-19 virus. Failure to comply with the regulations may result in (partial) exclusion from the event, in which case there is no (partial) entitlement to reimbursement of the contractually agreed remuneration. If the GDCh is prevented from holding the event due to force majeure, it will be released from its obligation. Force majeure also includes cancellation of the event due to government orders to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the GDCh reserves the right to hold the event online at short notice - due to the infection situation in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic - immediately prior to the date on which the physical event is to be held - in order to protect the participants, even if no official order to do so has been issued. By concluding the contract, the contracting party accepts to pay the contract remuneration also in this case. The GDCh in turn ensures that the contracting party can present itself in the virtual space with the same intention as it would have done at a physical event.
Should GDCh need to cancel the event, paid Exhibitor monies need to be refunded partially or in full. GDCh may retain some of the monies if the logo of the sponsor has been displayed on promotional material. The refund however comprises a minimum of 50% of the total amount of sponsorship money received.
