The transformation from the fossil age to a sustainable energy supply and use of resources is a central challenge of our time. The GDCh Division of Sustainable Chemistry invited postdocs, doctoral and master?s students who are working on a research topic in the field of sustainable chemistry and are members of the Division to present their research and the opportunities they see in it for a sustainable world in a short video.
The video contributions should be entertaining, clear and understandable enough that schoolchildren, first-year students and interested laypersons can also understand the research and its added value. The research should be presented as an "elevator pitch", preferably with the support of drawing tools, animations or flip charts.
After voting by the members of the specialist group, three videos were awarded prize money of 200 euros:
1st place: Sonja Mürtz, Aachen
2nd place: Janine Richter, Dresden
3rd place: Ruth D. Rittinghaus, Aachen
Many thanks to all participants!
