In 2016 we continued the successful SEC annual meeting. The conference venue was the historic university town of Münster. The large physics lecture hall HS 1 in Wilhelm-Klemm-Str. 9 was available for our Conference . The annual meeting took place from:

May 18-20, 2016

In 2016, too, the focus was on top-class lectures that are particularly related to senior chemists and present the latest developments in an understandable manner (see "Lectures" below). In Münster we attached particular importance to the involvement of young chemists, especially in the form of posters.

In Münster, too, we invited senior citizens to present their "retirement" activities of all kinds using posters. We have had good experience with this in Braunschweig; There was often lively discussion in front of the posters and the participants were able to take many suggestions home with them.

A detailed report was published in the 'Nachrichten': Nachr. Chem. 2016, 64, 923.
