NMR spectra evaluation, basic course
The course is aimed at technical employees with little or no previous knowledge of NMR as well as employees and doctoral students who want to refresh their previous NMR knowledge. The participants are made familiar with the most important NMR spectral parameters and their relationship with chemical structures. The basic knowledge for the structural analysis of 1H and 13C-NMR spectra is clearly conveyed in practical exercises with the aim of independently verifying simple structures.
NMR spectra evaluation and structure elucidation, advanced course
The course is suitable for technical staff and scientists with basic knowledge of NMR spectroscopy (see basic course). This course enables the participants to independently evaluate one- and multi-dimensional 1H and 13C-NMR spectra and to use these methods in structure elucidation. The focus of the numerous exercises is on stereochemical problems, mixture analysis, quantitative questions and database applications in the analysis of NMR spectra as well as the analysis of NMR spectra of other hetero nuclei (e.g. 15N, 19F, 31P).
Basics of practical NMR spectroscopy for technical staff
NMR spectroscopy is one of the most important and versatile analytical techniques for characterizing molecular systems and is almost indispensable, especially in preparative chemistry. The aim of the course is to provide a basic understanding of how modern digital NMR spectrometers work and to enable participants to carry out common NMR experiments and to adjust important parameters if necessary. In addition, simple modifications and maintenance measures are discussed.
