The AK sees its task in supporting the ongoing amendment of the Soil Protection Ordinance (BBodSchV) by conveying relevant scientific knowledge and practical experience in legislative bodies. Conversely, it also offers assistance and initiates scientific research with questions from higher-level committees. The AK will begin its work with the subject of the future assessment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in the soil , in particular with the current amendment proposal, which is currently very controversial. The substances beyond the 16 EPA-PAHs and PAH transformation products, which have so far not been given much attention, should also be taken into account
At the first meeting of the new AK soil on 28 June 2017 the GDCh office of the re-launch of the working group was decided. The new chairman of the is Dr. Dieter Hennecke. In addition, the dates of the next meetings in Frankfurt were set. These will be: 10/11/17 and 1/15/18.
On May 3, 2017, the draft of the Shell Ordinance (MantelV) for substitute building materials and soil protection was approved by the Federal Cabinet. One of the main components of the Shell Ordinance is the comprehensively amended BBodSchV of 1999. With the Shell Ordinance, however, the application is considerably expanded, for example to include the recycling of materials in soils. In the course of adapting the range of methods using valid standards, one of the discussions is whether the term ?soil? should not be replaced in some places by the term ?solid matter? and the scope of the standards expanded. Among others, another aspect is a changed evaluation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the soil man pathway, especially against the background that PAHs represent a group of hundreds of compounds that, in different concentrations, e.g. B. occur depending on the source and with widely varying toxicities in the environment. Various questions are available for specialist discussions. In the course of the new MantelV, which of course still has to be passed by the Bundestag and Bundesrat, numerous specialist discussions are already being held intensively and controversially - and decisions are being made. These took place on 28 June 2017 the office of the German Chemical Society for all members of the Division and other persons (including non-members) of authority, science and practice that are interested in the subject and wanted to bring in your knowledge of the regulation, a first meeting of the working group.
The rules for soil protection - clear, legally secure, inexpensive! Over 350 standards in the original text. The manual of the soil investigation, designed as a loose-leaf work, contains all technical rules listed in the BBodSchV and in other relevant ordinances as full texts and also the relevant legal texts. In addition, it contains relevant German and European standards for the following areas:
The editorial team ensures that the work is continued continuously: an average of four additional deliveries per year keep the soil investigation manual at a consistently high level of topicality. The total value of the standards included is well over EUR 28,000. The start of the subscription is only 688.00 EUR. You can order your loose-leaf publication as a subscription at www.hbu-info.de.
