We are a loose association of young scientists (pause) n the Division of chemical education. The main target group are the doctoral students of the Division, but there are also post-doctoral students and junior professors. For us it is essentially about an exchange and networking at the junior level. It is not that easy for doctoral students to find their way around the confusing world of science. And especially for members of smaller working groups, it is often helpful to get to know other specialist cultures and to exchange ideas with other doctoral candidates on an equal footing. We want to help ensure that the youngsters can exchange ideas in an informal setting, network with one another and get to know other perspectives.
Once a year we meet at the GDCh Conference, talk about our projects, make contacts and clarify what needs exist in our group. The working group is thus also a mouthpiece to give your needs and concerns a voice within the Division . A report on the activities in 2019 can be found here.
With our interactive map you can find other members of chemistry didactics in Germany with a short description of the project and email address. We have also put together useful links to the current year's Conferences as well as to scholarships and funding programs.
This is quite simple. Just click on the interactive map. Here you can enter your field of work and have the opportunity to contact other doctoral students and to be contacted by others yourself.
We look forward to you!
