The Division of Analytical Chemistry honors outstanding and independent achievements by young scientists who are in the early stages of their scientific Career with the analytical chemistry Division Award . Goal setting
As a rule, the Division of Analytical Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) awards the analytical chemistry Division Award every two years at ANAKON in order to encourage and motivate young scientists. Outstanding and independent achievements by committed and talented young scientists are honored - evidenced by publications and awards.

The price
The award is combined with an award certificate and prize money of 2000 euros. The form and time of the award are currently still open. Rest assured, however, that the Division will find a worthy setting for the awarding of the award - virus-free and celebratory. Following the award ceremony, the awardee the opportunity to present the award-winning research work in the form of a short lecture. The Division Board decides on the award of the prizes.

Nomination / application
The criteria for selection are outstanding scientific achievements during the doctorate and in further research (postdoc work in a university, research institution or industry) and a swift graduation. Changes in the research topic and work environment (e.g. stay abroad) are also rated positively. All members of the GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry section are entitled to make nominations, but self-nominations are also possible. All proposals contain the following documents:


  • Appreciation / justification (max. 2 pages)
  • short curriculum vitae (including email address)
  • Copies of the master?s and doctorate certificates (including grades)
  • List of publications (publications / patents)
  • List of any awards, prizes and third-party funding applications
