The Division of Analytical Chemistry honors outstanding and independent achievements by young scientists who are in the early stages of their scientific Career with the analytical chemistry Division Award . The prize is usually awarded every two years at ANAKON and includes an award certificate and prize money of 2,000 euros. All members of the Division of Analytical Chemistry to make nominations. The Division Board board decides on the award of the prize.

As a rule, the Division of Analytical Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) awards the analytical chemistry Division Award every two years at ANAKON in order to encourage and motivate young scientists. The award is given to outstanding and independent achievements by committed and talented young scientists - evidenced by publications and awards.
The award is combined with an award certificate, prize money of 2,000 euros and an invitation to ANAKON 2022, which after a pandemic-related postponement of one year for the period 7-10 . March 2022 is planned in Leipzig. Following the award ceremony, the awardee the opportunity to present the award-winning research work in the form of a short lecture. The Division Board decides on the award of the prizes.
Nomination / application
The criteria for selection are outstanding scientific achievements during the doctorate and in further research (postdoc work in a university, research institution or industry) and a speedy degree. Changes in the research topic and work environment (e.g. stay abroad) are also rated positively. All members of the GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry section are entitled to make nominations, but self-nominations are also possible. All proposals contain the following documents:
