In honor of Professor Franz Effenberger CLARIANT and the GDCh have established the Franz Effenberger Postdoctoral Fellowship.
This appreciates Professor Franz Effenberger's highly distinguished academic research and teaching in organic chemistry and various adjacent disciplines. He is a visionary thinker and role model for our young generation.

Who can apply?


International researchers with a PhD degree or close to finalizing their PhD degree who
? Have an outstanding scientific track record
? Propose a convincing and well-planned research project in the field of Green & Sustainable Chemistry
? Have identified and confirmed a European academic research institute and facility where they can perform their project including a mentoring agreement


Type of funding and duration


Fellowship of 30,000 euros for one year with the option to extend for a second year. The annual payment is a fixed payment without any additional allowances.
This fellowship is independent from other fellowship programs in which the candidate might be enrolled. The selected candidates need to check compliance with other programs.


Application


Applications must be submitted online through the online form. Applicants must submit their applications not later than six months after receiving their PhD degree. Funding starts not later than 1 year after approval.
